How affiliate links work

ReadyLience does not currently use affiliate links. If I add one, I will say so before the link on that page. If you follow it and buy something that qualifies, I may earn a commission — and it never costs you a cent more than buying the same thing any other way.

Where my independence sits

A commission cannot buy a good review from me. My recommendations come from the criteria and evidence I have laid out, and the fact that a product happens to have an affiliate link never outweighs safety, whether it actually fits your situation, its real drawbacks, or a better option that pays me nothing.

I disclose it in plain sight

On any page that earns from a link, I put a clear disclosure before the link. The exact program wording, including the Amazon Associates statement when it applies, will be rendered sitewide and locally before I ever turn those links on.

About outbound links

Any clickable link to another website is an affiliate link, and it opens in a new tab. When I cite research, I name the organization and the document in the text so you can find it — but those citations are not clickable, on purpose.
